I spent the last weekend in Nafpaktos, my half-hometown among my most beloved people!

I became a godmother of a beautiful baby boy!

Everything was great!! Family and close friends were there to celebrate the naming ceremony, under the hot sun & right next to the sea!!

Reunited after a long time, felt so good..
Danced "Razmatazz" together, once again after years, jumping around the bar, set ourselves free!

Drank ouzo by the sea, girls' talk & laugh! Nothing but joy!

.. & now back to the big city.. little Nicolas with his parents Marina and Petros & his sister Melina are going back to the States. Next time I see him he will have taken his first steps..

ήταν κι αυτή μία στιγμή

κι αν καμιά φορά βλέπω τα πρόσωπα θολά, τα φωτογραφίζω.

-ήθελες πάντα να φυλακίζεις τις στιγμές;
-ναι.*
*και αυτές με τη σειρά τους φυλακίζουν εμένα.

-ανατρέχεις συχνά στα κελιά τους;
-αρκετά συχνά.**
**καμία ελευθερία για εμένα και τις στιγμές μου.

εκτός αν τα βράδια αλλάζουν κελιά.
γιατί όταν ξυπνάω το πρωί δεν θυμάμαι καθαρά.
είναι όλα λίγο θολά.

το καλοκαίρι

ζω για όλα τα καλοκαίρια.

τόσο άδικο για τους χειμώνες, λυπηρό για την άνοιξη και απογοητευτικό για το φθινόπωρο.

να καίει το δέρμα μου, να σφίγγει, να γλυκαίνει από το αλάτι, να ομορφαίνουν τα μάτια μου, να μπλέκονται τα μαλλιά μου.

να κολλάνε οι βλεφαρίδες, να μακραίνουν!
ποιος μιλάει για μεικ απ το καλοκαίρι..

οι φακίδες..

όπου να'ναι θα μυρίσει θάλασσα και καλαμιές, λίγη δύναμη για έναν μικρό χειμώνα.

κι όταν είσαι στο Αιγαίο, το ξημέρωμα μοιάζει τόσο με το σούρουπο..
το βέρτιγκο του ταξιδευτή.


p.s: φωτογραφία..
από τη σειρά φωτογραφιών που κάνω για τα μαντήλια μου, που λόγω περιορισμένου χρόνου, θα ολοκληρωθεί τον Σεπτέμβριο!!

Μία βόλτα στην παλιά Αθήνα. Δύο εβδομάδες πριν. Παράδοξο.

Κυριακή. Ψυχή έξω. Κουκάκι. Ομορφιά μέσα. Τι γειτονιά..

Άφιλτρο. Με γυαλιά ηλίου.

Χρώματα παντού.

Μου αρέσει να ακολουθώ τα μηνύματα στους τοίχους.

Istanbul is "bridges"..

In Istanbul, once, I met the most beautiful people.

Our place in Cihangir had the most awesome view, I've ever seen.
I could follow the voice of seagulls & watch them, travel tο Bosporus.
I followed them over the bridges.

I listened to the greatest music & tasted the most delicious food.

I had the time of my life.

Those bridges are sometimes, confusing.
Where to go & where will the other side take you to.

Istanbul has the aura.
It's the city to fall in love with.
Love is free.
Istanbul must be free.

One day will be free thanks to people who keep fighting..
